Rotex kayak trip
Rotex planned a kayak trip for all the exchange students in Belgium that wanted to go. I like to stay as busy as possible and all most of my exchange student friends from Tournai were going. We had to catch a train at 6:05 in the morning, ride for 2 hours, catch another, then change trains one more time. i dunno even know what city we ended up in, but apparently it was the right one because all the rotary clubs were waiting. There were 2 person kayaks so my friend Alé, from bolivia, and i were parnters. We were pretty excited to kayak. Once in the water we could hardly go straight and kept running into rocks. we kayaked down a river for 2 hours. then stopped for lunch and went 3 more hours. By the end i was soaked and my arms hurt so bad, and my hands are blistered. When we finally got out of the boat we found out that our train was leaving in 5 minutes. Soaked shoes and all we ran to the station and catch the train. and 3 hours or so later i was back in Tournai.

Im glad you went kayaking. Did you brag about the fact that your brother can hella kayak? You should've.
Your writing continues to strengthen through both this blog and your emails. I love watching the progression - both in your writing and attitude about Belgium. Things are looking up for you Maura. Keep that in mind.
